“Atomic Kid” & “Innovators” song demos were waiting for Dan to track. The title track “Atomic Kid” became the focus. We all wanted to take it up a notch and so the challenge was to make “Atomic Kid” as good as possible. The big question was whether or not the electronic drum kit could be used or did we need to record it live? Dan plugged away at Atomic Kid and with Bill’s help on one of the final days of drum tracking, a new intro fell into place and the drums for the main riff started to feel right. The electronic drums proved to us that they could be used for drum tracking. On July 25, 2018 it was released as the first new single.
